My name is Emily

Momma to 3, Wife to Dalton and lover of God and all things He created. Lycoming College Biology Grad. Traveler and travel agent. || My passion is taking photos that tell a story, capture real emotions and laughter and creating an experience that becomes a core memory! Since I was 13, I have always had a camera in my hand. You'll find me homeschooling my kiddos, gardening, snuggled up with my bible or book, watching Outlander, in the barn, or playing in the creek (or mud) with my kiddos.

You'll Never Find Me Without A Camera...

I love the time I get with my children, and spend so much of my time taking photos of all of the memories we make. (As a mom, I know what it feels like to not be in the photos with my babies. And there is nothing more I want than to have you feel like you exist too. When your children are grown, they don't need to just remember you, but also see you! I hear you, "The kids won't hold still for photos..." They don't have to. We specialize in lifestyle photos because we want AUTHENTIC and REAL photos. So don't stress! The best photos are the ones where there are real smiles. )


Any who...?! One of the biggest questions I get is "What is your favorite thing to photograph?"

I think that this is a trick question, because you got it! - I love it all. So instead of trying to pick a "favorite" session type, I want to share my favorite parts of a plethora of sessions!


I love the tiny features of a baby like their toes, tiny fuzzy hair and little yawns of a newborn and excitement of new parents or new siblings as they get to experience this beautiful new life God has blessed them with.


Family sessions typically make me giggle because of every family's unique dynamic.. There is almost always kids running around, someone not wanting to take photos and another who wants to be the star of the show. Coming from a big family, and because of doing this for a living, I love to give a wink and word of encouragement to each family that this too is normal and even if it seems chaotic, the photos always turn out amazing. I love prompting games and learning all about your family. I love my job, and I love my families.


The love eyes always get me during our couples and engagement sessions. There is that real, raw chemistry of those who love each other deeply. It is the sweetest thing when he says you look beautiful or whispers something silly in her ear. The genuine smile that those moments produce are some of the most beautiful things I get to witness. These sessions are especially fun because I typically ask my couples to naturally interact with "games" like bucking bronco, airplanes and don't let him kiss you. IYKYK. ( ;


We're going to the chapel and we're going to get marrrrieedddd.... Weddings are a HUGE part of what we do here at SCB. We spend every single weekend during wedding season (seriously - every. single. one. in 2024 with 30 weddings alone). I absolutely LOVE love. Even more I LOVE OUR COUPLES and getting to know them and their individual stories! Every single couple and their vision is different - different themes, colors, venues and personalities. We love them ALL! I love being able to be a part of such a MONUMENTOUS day. To see a bride put on the long await dress, witness private vows, first kisses, witness tears stream down a daddy's cheek when he sees his baby for the first time in her dress, a momma snuggle into her son during the mother son dance, and enjoy the ambiance of the reception and the cupid shuffle, is such an honor.


There is just so much to love. My job doesn't feel like a job, it feels like a dream!



My name is Dalton

Hi There! I am the husband to the duo! Proud Dad to 3 kiddos! I am a down to earth, calm and funny guy! You typically will find me behind a camera at a wedding or toteing around my wife's equipment! When I am not at a session or wedding, you will find me playing on the floor with my kids, fishing, golfing or riding my motorcycle. I love to race, and once caught a four cylinder on fire! My favorite part of wedding photography is "hanging out" with the guys and making getting photos done fun!

My heart in this, is to forever capture those moments for you. for you to be able to a moment to step back in time and feel, hear and immerse yourself in that moment again & to create an experience you enjoy and have fun with!
