Don't Stress, we don't want "perfect"


I love the time I get with my children, and spend so much of my time taking photos of all of the memories we make. As a mom, I know what it feels like to not be in the photos with my babies. And there is nothing more I want than to have you feel like you exist too. When your children are grown, they don't need to just remember you, but also see you! I hear you, "The kids won't hold still for photos..." They don't have to. We specialize in lifestyle photos because we want AUTHENTIC and REAL photos. So don't stress! The best photos are the ones where there are real smiles. That is the beauty of lifestyle photography!


Let them bring the toy car or wear the shoes. You're not going to remember the perfect outfit, but chances are you will remember how they carried around their stuffed animal around everywhere they went. ( I know this because our sweet Sadie has carried around a very faded "gg" the giraffe around for the first 5 years of her life and counting... and he is in every family photo until now. & I honestly kind of miss him (;

this daddy daughter duo has absolutely stolen my entire heart. every year they do a special "date" session to show her she deserves the best. swoon. this year they turned up the music, and chose to dance, eat pizza, and talks of fishing and flowers. we pulled into the cutest little forest and in the middle of a clearing and danced to her favorite song, giggling and skipping around. daddy surprised her with flowers and of course her favorite meal, pizza! while sitting at the tiny table, they had tons of fun after their pizza "cheers" and talked about the fish in the stream! According to this sweet little lady, there are some real keepers in the water <3 I am so thankful for the oppurtunity to take part in capturing all of these memories for them and for years to come. these are the moments that matter, that she will remember. we are so proud to be even a small part of that!
